Furniture collection

Dikļi Palace is furnished with numerous historical pieces of furniture (from the interiors of the Benjamins and the Svemps families, to name a few). In the Ladies’ Salon there are two Neo-Rococo (the Second Rococo) lounge sets a la French bourgeoisie: rough shapes, curved legs, and accentuated natural representation of floral ornaments.

The North Hall and the Reading Room are furnished with Neo-Renaissance furniture from the second half of the 19th century: a sideboard, a dining table, chairs, a desk and a sofa. There is also a bookcase in the entrance hall with a rococo pediment from the late 18th century.
